Description

Buffalo trace bourbon cream review is like having dessert at the grown-up table.
Some argue, but since the original distillery building on this site dates from 1775, most folks consider the Buffalo Trace Distillery to be the oldest continually operating distillery in the US. It sits on the banks of the Ohio River in Frankfort, Kentucky, on the same 150 acres — completing 245 years of continuous operation. It even used the “medicinal” loophole to operate during Prohibition. Now owned by Sazerac, its history includes a veritable Who’s-Who of historic Bourbon owners and Master Distillers who continue today to craft some of the finest and most popular Whiskey brands in America.
Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream is simply an indulgent, decadent joy. In theory, it’s the Bourbon equivalent of Irish Cream Liqueur. But the flavor here is so much more. Hand-crafted in small batches, it’s made from Buffalo Trace Straight Bourbon, Cream, and a bit of simple cane syrup. But it tastes like Bourbon and vanilla ice cream melted together. It really tastes great all by itself, but Buffalo Trace recommends mixing 1 part with 2 parts root-beer to make a Buffalo Float cocktail.

TASTING NOTES: This liqueur is rich and sweet. The smooth taste of Buffalo Trace Bourbon compliments the creamy vanilla flavor.

Minimum Legal Drinking Age

Even with this flexibility for the States, Congress retains the power to use financial and tax incentives to promote certain alcohol policies, such as the minimum legal drinking age. The Federal Uniform Drinking Age Act of 1984 sets the minimum legal drinking age to 21 and every State abides by that standard.

According to this Act, the Federal government can withhold ten percent of Federal funding for highways from States that do not prohibit people under age 21 from buying or publically possessing any alcoholic beverage.  While every State abides by this standard, State law varies on specifics about possession and exceptions to the law, such as allowing people under 21 to drink with their parents.
